I ordered the risotto and it was bad - it was mushy and extremely salty.
Really liked the crab cake though.

V-day @ Le Midi

Been M.I.A for a few weeks
but it feels like ages
since I've logged into my blogspot account.

As much as V-day is overrated,
I STILL like V-day
because I get to eat yummy food.

Salad of Lobster with Burrata Cheese and Italian Bottarga


Ravioli stuffed with foie gras and quail ragout, sauce cream of Armagnac


Halfway while eating, I noticed that the ravioli was heart shaped.
The ravioli was really good and SUPER filling.


Roasted King Prawn with Madagascar Vanilla Pods sauce served with parsnip mash

Beef Tournedo crusted with rub of Arabica coffee, cocoa and peppercorn sauce of Medeira reduction served with Chantarelles

The beef was really good. I could really taste the hint of coffee and cocoa.
The combination of coffee and steak tasted quite nice.

Like all the dishes ordered that night except for the chicken + yam dish (just do not like yam dishes in general with the exception of taro bubble tea!) and seafood noodles (too starchy).

Particularly love the 50% discount on pastas for lunch on weekdays!

However, shame about the service.
